Paint Your House – A Custom Watercolor Workshop

Looking for the perfect gift for a friend who just bought their first home? Want to capture the charm of the house you grew up in—or the place you built a life with someone you love? This workshop is a meaningful and creative way to celebrate the spaces that hold a special place in your heart.

Before class, please send a clear, front-facing photo of the house to carlie@carliearts.com with the name of the person who registered for the class and the class date in the subject line.

To help me create the best sketch possible, make sure:

• The photo is taken straight on (not from an angle)

• There are no cars or large objects blocking the view (especially in the driveway)

• The image is not a screenshot—please send the original photo in good lighting and full resolution

I’ll use your photo to create a custom sketch on watercolor paper, ready for you to paint during class.

In the workshop, you'll learn beginner-friendly watercolor techniques and bring your personalized home portrait to life. Whether you're framing it for yourself or gifting it to someone special, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind, handmade keepsake.

All materials provided—just bring yourself and your favorite memory of home.
